PRINTING METHODS

Minushay is proud to be working alongside some of Australia's finest printeries, who are just as passionate as us about paper.

Have a read below of the printing methods we have to offer - digital printing, white ink, letterpress and foiling. Designs within the semi-tailored collections are also available for print in any finish. Feel free to reach out and ask.

Digital (CMYK) | Price $-$$

Flat digital ink printing is the most cost effective and fast turnaround print option. Our printers will give you an unlimited range of colors that are rich, crisp and saturated with a flat and smooth finish.

This printing method is quite flexible, and is ideal for more artistic wedding invitations with its ability to reproduce effects such as watercolor painting, pen or even ink calligraphy. Digital also allows for variable data, so personalisation of guest names can be considered on your pieces.

*Minimum Order: 20-pieces

Tips:

For your colored designs to really ‘pop’, I suggest selecting a ‘white’ toned cardstock, which will act as your backdrop.

White Ink | Price $-$$

White ink printing can be considered as a variant to digital colour. The only difference being that a piece is printed all in white.

This printing style looks oh-so-chic on dark coloured stocks. The colours produced are particularly striking and sophisticated. Similar to digital printing, guest personalisation is also possible.

*Minimum Order: 20-pieces

Tips:

Select darker cardstocks to allow for greater contrast of your designs, which will deliver the ultimate ‘wow’ factor.

Also, feel free to select any thickness of cardstock to achieve your desired look and finish.

And don’t worry - if I think your combinations won’t achieve your desired result, I will provide you with suggestions so your pieces turn out sleek and glam.

Letterpress | Price $$-$$$

Letterpress printing adds a touch of class to your event like no other!

The method involves pressing your design into the cardstock creating a soft and pillowy ‘debossed’ effect. Each design is individually made into a stamping plate, which is then inked and pressed into the cardstock, and then repeated.

With this method, variable data is unfortunately not an option, as a new cast would have to be made for each of your guests names. Cost wise.. it’s not very economical!

*Minimum Order: 50-pieces

Tips:

For your design to really shine, I recommend using white or light coloured cardstocks with medium to dark ink tones.

Whilst letterpess can be done on 300gsm cardstocks, the thicker the stock the deeper the indentation. For that ultra luxe feel, I suggest 600gsm+ cardstocks, which is sure to leave a lasting impression on your guests.

Foil Pressed | price $$$

Foil press involves heat and pressure to stamp a metallic film onto the cardstock. The result is a shimmery indentation in the form of your design.

Whilst nothing says ultra-elegance like gold foil, there is also a vast array of other foil colors including silver, rose gold, copper and many more. The possibilities are endless!

*Minimum Order: 50-pieces

Tips:

Similar to letterpress, I recommend choosing cardstocks that are 300gsm+. You just can’t go wrong with foiling - it looks good on practically any cardstock color.

DIE-CUT STATIONERY

Die-cut shapes involve the cutting of a piece of material (eg. cardstock, foamboard, acrylic etc) into a custom shape and size. They are fantastic for those wanting something a little different and can be quite eye-catching.

Below are some of the various die-cut shapes which are available. There’s no need to stick to one shape either - mix and match to your hearts content!

Please note as die-cutting is an extra process, it does incur an additional cost.

Don’t see a particular shape you’re after? Custom die-cutting is also available upon request for an additional cost. Feel free to reach out and I will provide a custom quote.
